Software Developer / Programmer / Software Engineer:
The software developer will develop and maintain scientific software used for instrument control, data acquisition and processing of NMR, NQR and MRI data. Project contributions include:
- Implement algorithms for data processing
- Maintain and improve hardware interface (USB 2.0 driver)
- Design and maintain instrument user interfaces / display graphics
- Design and document the software architecture
- Maintain MSI / Installshield-based software installer
Qualifications required:
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Chemistry, Physics or related field
- Minimum 2 year experience programming in C++ using Microsoft development tools
- Strong graphic and user interface design abilities in a Windows environment
- Experience with VB, Active X and MFC
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Good communication skills and an ability to work with a team of engineers and scientists
- Proven ability to succeed in a multi-tasking environment
Familiarity with magnetic resonance (NMR, MRI or NQR) and Windows 7 is a plus.
Hours: 40 Hours per week: 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., Monday – Friday
Electronic Engineer:
Tecmag, inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineer for its manufacturing team. The candidate must have a BS in Electrical Engineering. Qualifications include a strong understanding of Analog Device SHARC DSP, Altera FPGAs (Max 7000, Flex 10k, and Cyclone II) and familiarity with radio frequency circuitry.
Responsibilities include:
- Board level testing of analog and digital circuitry
- Implementing new test methods
- Improving reliability of products
- Collaborating with R&D on the design and introduction of new products into manufacturing
Qualifications required:
- BS degree in Electrical Engineering
- Strong understanding of Analog Device SHARC DSP and Altera FPGAs
- Familiarity with radio frequency circuitry
- Experience with advanced test equipment including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, network analyzers and spectrum analyzers
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to succeed in a multi-tasking environment
Exposure to "C++" language, Visual Basic, or Windows 7 is a plus.
